We began our journey back in the early 2000 when various food based events occurred namely, in 2001 The National Organic Standards, effectively making USDA standards into Law, are officially established after ten years of debate within Congress. In 2008 The Farm Act was passed allowing farmers to express their concerns and opinions about Organic Agriculture and in 2013 a protesters take part in the global “March Against Monsanto” expressing concerns against GMO in food products. We attempted to launch wellness centers during this period of time and our struggles eventually led us to lay our grounds on the Delmarva Region which is currently experiencing food changes with a local emphacis on Organic Farm to Table foods. The region hosts both agriculture and hospitality and the state houses one of the finest health care providers in the nation. Our Core Principles that establish our guidelines are: connecting locally grown food and promoting awareness of Plant based Diets with a key focus on Lifestyle Health options. We are able to do this by marrying Health and Wellness with our Food Services which focus on being healthy by making right choices and integrating that in a person’s Lifestyle.
